RISK COMMUNICATION

Risk communication involves the transfer of information about risk between affected parties. WC’s risk communication guidance is based on the premise that effective risk communications occurs when an organization has a clear understanding of:

  • corganizational objectives;
  • objectives and risk perceptions of other key parties; and
  • an explicit understanding of the level of risk in the issues at hand.
